Join the Revolution...
Partnerships and collaborations
Our business model is all about partnerships. We want to partner with companies that need nanotechnologies incorporated into their products but don't have the expertise, or don't want the distraction or capital expense of becoming nanofibre production companies themselves. Similarly we offer research institutions the opportunity to take their research further and commercialise their ideas for nanofibres.
With a process that can produce very high yields of fibre, and a wide range of polymers to address the various market needs, Revolution Fibres is an important and trusted supplier that makes enhanced nanofibre products commercially viable.
Product development
Our team of commercially-orientated engineers, scientists and research partners offer a technology development pathway and commercialisation service for nanofibre products and enhancements, whilst also developing our own products in various sectors. An example of which is development of the Seta™ nanofibre diffuser filters for New Zealand's leading ventilation company HRV.
The challenge was to create a secondary air filter from natural materials – resulting in a web of fibre containing plant extracts electrospun onto a biodegradable base. Air pollutants such as spores and bacteria are trapped and cannot grow in the antimicrobial web at the outlets of the ventilation system – the last point of contact before the air enters the room. |

Nanofibre production
We have a range of electrospinning machines suitable for your nanofibre production requirements. From lab-scale trials to industrial-scale production, we offer secure and confidential production runs of your chosen material, with various quality control methods (SEM). If you have nanofibre research that needs to be taken to the next level, or need a commercial supplier of nanofibre, talk to us.
Our Sonic Electrospinning Technology™ is capable of producing hundreds of square metres of fibre per day (at various densities, with controlled and consistent fibre diameter).
Electrospinning Machine Development
Extensive R&D has led us to become well-versed in the complex art of electrospinning. Our development pathway will soon lead to commercially available electrospinning machines – until then we offer advice and services in the areas of:
• Production process design, set up, integration and optimization.
• Lab-scale electrospinning (needle based).
• QC methods development and implementation.
