Staff Feature Friday – Hansol & Brent

Celebrating and showcasing our people is one of the things that is important to us here at Revolution Fibres. When choosing a nanofibre manufacturer it’s important to know who you’re dealing with, as well as their capabilities. So let us tell you a little bit more about two of our team – Hansol, and Brent.

Hansol – Material Engineer

A Korean-born Kiwi, Hansol Cha did his degree in Chemical and Materials Engineering (Hons) at University of Auckland, and is continuing his Masters of Engineering. Hansol joined Revolution Fibres in 2012 and has helped transform our production capabilities from lab-scale electrospinning to commercial manufacturing of nanofibre using our Sonic Electrospinning machines. His role bridges the gap between R&D and Operations, this involves scaling up laboratory trials to pilot scale machine to full production run. Hansol enjoys developing new materials and products, testing and validating prototypes and determining material properties, and is a keen salesman of nanofibre.

Brent – Operations Manager

With a degree in mechanical engineering Brent Tucker has 7 years of experience designing and manufacturing composite products for marine, aerospace and consumer markets, including the production scale up from prototype to mass production of composite mining products. At Revolution Fibres he has implemented a number of production improvements as well as managing the process of AS-9100/ISO9001 Quality Management System certification.

Both these two play a crucial role in making Revolution Fibres a great option for any business looking to improve their products with nanofibre. They’re also a pleasure to deal with, which is important. Get in touch and hopefully you’ll have the chance to shake hands with these two.
